The guest rooms open onto the main house's glass-covered interior courtyard filled with tropical plants. The sunny living room has a fireplace, comfortable furniture, and a great collection of books. In the lush tropical garden a multicolored tent from Rajastan, India, serves as the outdoor living room. It is a wonderful place to read and nap in the afternoon, and becomes the social center of la casa in the evening when guests gather after a day of sightseeing to share stories of their discoveries in Guanajuato.

Please read the following before booking your trip to Guanajuato so that you can plan the most trouble-free visit to and from La Casa.

Check in time is 3 pm. To insure the comfort of our guests, no check ins are
allowed after 11 p.m. If your flight arrives after 11 pm. we will be happy to
suggest a hotel near the airport in which to spend your first night. Please
advise us of your arrival time so that we may be sure to be here to greet you. This is very important for us!

Check out time is 12 noon. Again, for the comfort of all our guests, no check
outs are permitted before 7 am. If your flight leaves León before 8:30 am we
will be happy to make special arrangements when you confirm your reservation with us otherwise we would be glad to suggest hotels close to the airport for your last night..

A deposit of one night’s tariff is required to confirm your reservation.
Your deposit may be made by credit card (Visa/Mastercard) by contacting us via e-mail.

Credit cards ARE NOW ACCEPTED for final payment at the Casa.

However, cash (pesos or dollars) or traveler's checks are also accepted.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: a 15-day cancellation notice is
required for return of a deposit, less a $15US processing fee. With less than a
15-day notice, your deposit will be returned only if the room is subsequently
booked. There is no exception to this policy.

La Casa de Espíritus Alegres Bed & Breakfast, with its balconies, open stairways, and folk art, may not be a safe place for children. If you have children under 10, please contact us before planning your stay.
