Leaving the airport,
go straight up the bridge over the highway and bear right,
curving around and going back under the bridge, following the
signs to Silao/Guanajuato/ MĂ©xico. You will pass by Silao and
then see an exit to Guanajuato. Take this exit onto the road to
Guanajuato -110. Follow the signs to stay on the Cuota (toll)
road to Guanajuato and take it to its end.
At the end of the Cuota road you will pass through the toll
booth ($18.00 pesos), and very quickly come upon a traffic
circle with a large statue of a woman in the center. Go around
the circle heading to Guanajuato and get in the left lane. Soon
you will pass under a pedestrian bridge and an exit to
Guanajuato. Do not take this exit to Guanajuato, but continue
straight ahead to your left and follow the signs to Marfil/centro
de Convenciones, you will be on a ramp to your right. Take your
first right (about 1/10 mile) into Marfil/Centro de Convenciones.
There is Marfil sign in the island.
You're very close, less than a mile away.
Go through the little commercial section of Marfil, (just a few
shops and two speed bumps), you’ll see a mini-supermarket
called Real de Marfil on your left and go over a bridge on a big
curve to the right. We are the next driveway on the right. There
is a small sign that says La Ex-Hacienda la Trinidad and there
is also a sign for the third speed bump. Make a sharp right turn
down into our driveway. If you pass the restaurant Hacienda de
Marfil-Chez Nicoleor the third speed bump then you've gone one
driveway too far.
The B&B is straight ahead. Please park considerately
