DRIVING FROM MORELIA

  Take Route 43 North toward Salamanca. At the first traffic circle on the outskirts of Salamanca go left on Route 45. This will T into the free road to Irapuato, go left at the T. This road crosses (and briefly joins) the cuota road from Mexico to Guadalajara (45D). Take it towards Mexico and take the immediate exit (to Leon/Guanajuato ), going north on 45. Follow the signs to León/ Guanajuato. As you near Silao, follow the signs to Guanajuato and take the Cuota (toll) Road (110) to its end.

 At the end of the Cuota road you will pass through the toll booth ($15.00 pesos), and very quickly come upon a traffic circle with a large statue of a woman in the center. Go around the circle heading to Guanajuato and get in the left lane. Soon you will pass under a pedestrian bridge and an exit to Guanajuato. Do not take this exit to Guanajuato, but continue straight ahead. In about 1/4 mile, you will come to a T. Go left, following the signs to León Libre/ Irapuato/ México and heading downhill. Take your first right (about 1/10 mile) into Marfil. There is a red Marfil sign in the island. 

You're very close, less than a mile away. 

Go through the little commercial section of Marfil, (just a few shops and a speed bump or two), you’ll see a mini-supermarket called Real de Marfil on your left and go over a bridge on a big curve to the right. We are the next driveway on the right. There is a small sign that says La Ex-Hacienda la Trinidad. Make a sharp right turn down into our driveway. If you pass the restaurant Hacienda de Marfil-Chez Nicole then you've gone one driveway too far. 

At the bottom of our driveway is a gate with interphones to the right. Our interphone is the first one next to the drive. If the gate is locked push the interphone button and we'll open the gate. The B&B is straight ahead. Please park considerately.
