TAXI FROM LEÓN/BAJIO AIRPORT

 When you've come through customs go left into the airport and on your left will be the car rental desks and one that says Ground Transportation. Go to that one and ask for a taxi to La Casa de Espíritus Alegres en Marfil. They'll sell you a ticket for $300 pesos (about $30 US). 

By this time you'll no doubt have someone carrying your bags, and they'll whisk you away to the curb where they'll put you in the next cab in line and you'll be here in 20 minutes. (By the way, there is an ATM and a money changer in the airport. It is located to your right and around the corner. The Casa de Cambio is open 9-5, but the ATM operates 24 hours a day. It’s a great opportunity to get pesos at a very good rate.)

 They promise me that ALL their drivers know how to get here, but just in case... you're going to La Casa de Espíritus Alegres in Marfil, not downtown Guanajuato. There is a small sign on the street at the top of our driveway which says Ex-Hacienda La Trinidad. If they don't know the house, you can tell them that it's ‘al lado del restaurante Hacienda de Marfil- Chez Nicole. The driveway is a very sharp right-hand turn. You’ll pass through the gate and the B&B is straight ahead.

 Después de salir de la cuota a Guanajuato, pase la glorieta y tome el carril izquierdo. Las señales dirán Silao/Irapuato. Después hay un puente peatonal y una salida a Gunajuato. No vaya al rumbo a Guanajuato Centro. Siga las señales de Marfil/Centro de Convenciones. Usted está muy cerca. Sólo le falta un kilómetro. Pase por el centro comercial pequeño de Marfil (solo pocas tiendas y dos topes) y pasando una curva grande hacia la derecha, verá una tienda Real de Marfil en su mano izquierda. Busque luego un letrero a la derecha que dice La Ex-Hacienda La Trinidad o el letrero del tercer tope. Es la primer entrada a la derecha. Haga una vuelta fuerte a su derecha, y esta es nuestra entrada. Si usted pasa el restaurante Hacienda de Marfil-Chez Nicole, el tercer tope o el Museo de Gene Byron, ya se pasá. Regrese una entrada. Pase por las rejas, y estamos directamente enfrente.

A medio kilometro o menos, llegará a una T. Vaya a la izquierda, rumbo a Silao/León Libre/Irapuato. En unos pocos metros cruzará un puentecito. Inmediatamente después, agarra a la derecha, la entrada de MARFIL. Usted está muy cerca. Sólo le falta un kilómetro. Pase por el centro comercial pequeño de Marfil (solo pocas tiendas y unas topes) y pasando una curva grande hacia la derecha, verá una tienda Real de Marfil en su mano izquierda.
